Difference between blog and website
A blog is a type of website in which the matter or the content is written in reverse chronological order (newer content will appear first and older in the end) whereas the website is a collection of pages, content, and multimedia content that are collocated under one domain. Websites are usually` hosted by web hosting services, which allows these pages and content to be accessed over the World Web Wide.
The main difference between blog and website
blog have frequently or latest updated data. And website tends to be much more
stable data that is organized into pages. So, technically what we see on the
internet by entering any URL like google.com, faceook.com, gmail.com,
youtube.com, etc all are websites. Near about 1993, this free-up world started
using all made-up properties of the internet or the World Wide Web. So we can
say that blog is a type of website. Now, we have to understand the difference
between blog and website according to SEO. The difference between a blog and a
website is just like a diary and a notebook. A website is just like the
notebook of any subject and a blog is just like a diary. In a diary, we write
all good bad incidents and all other daily experiences of the day date-wise. A
blog is a digital version of a diary. All the daily experiences we explain and
write in detail page by page in our diary. And these pages are different as per
date.
Now coming on to websites, it is like a
notebook on subject one notebook and one website for one industry or business.
In every notebook, a new topic is written on a new page and the content of the
copy does not depend upon the notebook although it depends on the topic we are
writing. A normal trend these days as a normal section for the blog is also
there for a business website. Some People also question such a blog can be
included in the levels of Internal backlinks and the answer for this question
is it depends on the URL structure of our website. Let's assume that our
website is example.com and the URL
for these pages URL isexample.com/page1,
example.com/page2, and example.com/page3, and so on. Now, in this website
blog section can be of different types if our website is blog.example.com then your website is different, a blog is
different as subdomains are different –different. Therefore, internal
web-linking is not possible. Another example can example.com/blog/blogpost1
in this type of URL structure, the parent of our blog post is a blog. So, a blog can be the main page and our level 1 page
will deal as a blog and we should not mix the rest of the pages with posts. The
third type of example can be example.com/blogpost1 andexample.com/blogpost2. These types of URL structures are very
common these days. World press made it very popular and we can easily decide
that a one blog post can come in which this of page-level because there is no
difference post and page. On website pages it different pages cover different
topics whereas every page in the blog totally depends upon the date. So the
post is nothing but it is just another type of page. This confusion of page and post is increased by the Word press platform. Word press was developed as a
blogging platform that why still in the dashboard of World press the option of
posts is found above the page option. When we make a page in Word press then by
clicking on the post option then is automatically seen in the blog section in
chronological order. In every post, we can give a common sidebar or can create
another category but that post is a type of page or webpage. It is a platform for World press bloggers.
Blogger is a type from search engine optimization and not itself search.
